In 1991, the Soviet Union disintegrated, and the socialist countries that were once part of the Soviet system began to declare independence, with the East Slav Republic being one of many newly formed nations. However, the East Slav region is severely polarized, with a significant social imbalance, and the rebel forces have engaged in a war with the government forces for over a decade. As the 21st century arrives, the war intensifies, with rumors of "monsters" joining the conflict, leading to an uncertain progression of the war. To investigate the truth behind biological weapons, Leon is dispatched to East Slav. Amid the chaos, he is captured by the rebels, but soon, humans controlled by parasites attack their strongholds and cities. Meanwhile, Ada arrives in East Slav with a mysterious purpose. The war destroys everything and nurtures demons—can Leon prevent the situation from worsening...? This film is adapted from the classic video game of the same name.
