27-year-old Shota Tazumi (played by Satoshi Ohno) from Yamaguchi Prefecture has aspired to be a superhero since childhood. However, the real world is exceedingly harsh; after being fired by his boss for working as a special effects actor, Shota reluctantly turns to his university senior Kazuma Ichinoki (played by Ryuta Satoh) and makes a living selling roasted sweet potatoes.
