Five strangers became good brothers in prison — the Five Lucky Stars. Tea Pot (played by Sammo Hung), Dead Air (played by Wu Yiu-Han), Curly Hair (played by Chan Kin-Fung), Vaseline (played by Ching Siang-Lin), and Lucky (played by Feng Tsui-Fan) all ended up in jail due to petty theft or being a sidekick, and they are determined to turn their lives around and earn money honestly after their release. The five were released from prison on the same day, and after their release, they pooled their resources to establish a cleaning company, specializing in cleaning for businesses and homes. One day, while the gang was dealing in counterfeited electrical circuit boards, they were spotted by a bumbling cop. In a panic, they hid the circuit boards inside the cleaning truck of the Five Lucky Stars. Unknowingly, the Five Lucky Stars were once again pulled into a conflict: on one hand, the police suspected them of being gang accomplices, issuing a manhunt; on the other hand, the gang was also pursuing them, wanting to kill them to retrieve the circuit boards. How will the Five Lucky Stars use their clever schemes to escape this predicament?
