The story takes place in a women's prison. Shi Feifei (played by Li Cuiyun), Qiuzi (played by Ma Lingyan), A Si (played by Zhao Nana), and Taohua (played by Liao Dongyan) are all inmates here. One day, they welcome a new cellmate, Ding Jing'er (played by Zhao Wei). Except for Shi Feifei, everyone else is hostile towards the newcomer, Ding Jing'er. One day, Shi Feifei's boyfriend, Zheng Ying'er (played by Guo Yuming), leaves a baby at the prison gate, having chosen to abandon the poor child in order to go abroad. In desperation, the squad leader decides to take in the child.
