The story begins in Belfast during the 1970s and 80s. Terry (played by Richard Dormer) is a music enthusiast with a rebellious spirit and radical ideas. Faced with ongoing conflict and a hard life in Northern Ireland, he makes a different decision from the stance chosen by his friends. He decides to open a record shop in a neighborhood fraught with tension, naming it Beautiful Oscillation. In the early days of running his shop, Terry signs two promising bands. The moment when the famous host John plays the hit song "Teenage Kicks" by The Undertones on BBC Radio 1 becomes a turning point for Terry's musical dreams to come true. However, despite his success in the music industry, Terry is not a perfect hero; he exhibits an extremely selfish side in his personal life.
