The film was released in 3D in India. Nani (played by Nani) has been secretly in love with the girl across the building, Bindu (played by Samantha Ruth Prabhu), for two years. Although he has never received a clear response from Bindu, he remains infatuated with her. Sudip (played by Sudeep), the boss of the construction company sponsoring Bindu's work, is also interested in her. This seemingly wealthy and powerful man is actually a ruthless gang leader. He uses every means to try to seduce Bindu, but he discovers that Bindu loves Nani. Just when Bindu and Nani are spending a sweet night together, and Bindu decides to muster the courage to express her feelings, Nani is murdered by the jealous Sudip.
