In the Northern Song Dynasty, King Kang was captured by the Jin and imprisoned in a perilous location. The guards included the Jin Prince (Chen Xing) and the dark arts expert Wan TianKui (Gu Feng). Various righteous heroes from the martial world devised numerous strategies to rescue King Kang, but the prison's location was indeed treacherous, and the enemy's defenses were unusually tight, leaving everyone at their wits' end. After discussions, Bao TingTian (Dilong) decided to seek the help of the expert Bian Fu (Kang Dawei), not realizing that Wan TianKui also intended to recruit Bian Fu, making a fight inevitable. After a brief misunderstanding, Bao TingTian and Bian Fu became bosom friends, and Bian Fu was determined to help his good brother fulfill his noble cause. While preparing, seeing everyone struggling due to the terrain issues, Bian Fu decided to take a risk.
