This film is adapted from a novel by John Hughes, telling the story of three high school freshmen who are bullied by campus bullies on their first day of school. To avoid making their future days increasingly difficult, they place an advertisement in 'Soldier of Fortune' magazine, hoping to hire a bodyguard. Unexpectedly, the one who responds is Thad, who lives on the beach and charges very little, and he brings unprecedented shock education to the three little bosses.
