On a pitch-black night, three young people—A Jie (played by Dong Zijian), Xiao Bo (played by Wang Junkai), and Tong Tong (played by Dilraba Dilmurat)—accidentally stumble upon an old little house called "The Miraculous Convenience Store." They barge in and unexpectedly find that time here not only seems to stand still but also appears to be frozen in the distant year of 1993. At that moment, a letter is pushed through the mail slot. The writer of the letter seems to have various troubles, and without realizing it, Xiao Bo and the others act as life mentors, carefully crafting replies to the troubled individual.
