After Quan Ge is killed by a rival, Chusan and Sha Pi live on the fringes, and Chusan, forced to hide the boss's drugs, develops an addiction. Years pass, and after leaving rehab, Chusan meets a student named Ah Mei (played by Luo Meiwei) and falls in love with her. They soon get married after she becomes pregnant. At the wedding, Sha Pi risks his life to protect Chusan’s reputation, but shortly after the banquet, the two brothers get imprisoned for robbery and injuring a police officer. In prison, they realize there is no future in being a little brother. After their release, they get involved in loan sharking and pimping, leading them down another abyss...
