After four years of living apart, Ahmad (Ali Mosaffa) travels from Tehran to Paris at the request of his French wife Marie (Bérénice Bejo) to finalize their divorce. During his brief stay in Paris, Ahmad witnesses the ongoing conflict between his wife and daughter. He attempts to help improve their relationship, only to uncover a secret from the past.
