This film depicts the achievements of Soviet scouts. During the Great Patriotic War, Soviet army scout Major Fedotov was ordered to parachute into enemy territory at night to investigate the German high command's military action plans. His target was General Koon, who held Germany's highest military secrets. In enemy territory, Fedotov assumed the alias Henry Iket and transformed into a wealthy and flamboyant businessman. Fedotov devised a way to contact the spy chief Lumeibao in order to infiltrate their ranks. Through a series of clever and brave struggles, he eventually learned who the traitor was within a certain Soviet department that was providing intelligence to the enemy, and he delivered the deserved punishment. In the end, Fedotov captured Koon. Brave, astute, and composed, the Soviet scout achieved great merit.
