The sound of whistles echoes through the mountains and valleys of rural Turkey, serving as a means of communication for villagers and the only way for a mute girl to connect with others. As the beloved daughter of the village chief, she is spared the regulation of wearing a headscarf, yet cannot escape the disdainful looks of others. Running through the mountains, she hopes to shoot a wolf to gain respect but is unexpectedly ambushed by a mysterious injured man, capturing both her body and spirit. The legend of the hungry wolf instills fear, surpassing the feudal giants of a patriarchal society, causing even more dread for the girl. A trip to the north leads to an encounter with a resilient woman, inspiring Şinçüs and Giovanetti to weave a story that intertwines reality, dreams, and folk myths, shouting for the freedom of independent and empowered women.
