She has been diligent and hardworking, finally getting her first vacation after several years. However, unexpectedly, she precariously decides to give up this rare opportunity to voluntarily go to an offshore oil drilling platform to care for Joseph (Tim Robbins), a man who has been severely burned and temporarily blinded in an accident. A desolate and isolated drilling platform, two lonely souls tormented by painful pasts, and a subtly intimate relationship intertwined with secrets and truths. Under Hannah's attentive care, Joseph finally opens up, while Hannah also breaks her silence to share her tragic and unknown experiences with him.
