A worker named Simon (played by Habib Boufares) has been laboring hard at the port of Sète for most of his life but is dismissed from his job, feeling both angry and helpless as his struggles against his boss prove fruitless. As his career falters, his relationships with his family become strained, leaving his ex-wife, lover, and children disappointed in him. Just when Simon feels trapped, his lover's daughter, Rim (played by Hafsia Herzi), steps forward to help. Encouraged by her, Simon plans to open a restaurant on an abandoned ship, but doubts from investors about his assets nearly derails the venture. However, Simon regains the courage and confidence to rebuild his life. He helps his family gradually emerge from despair, but just as they are preparing dishes for the restaurant, they encounter unprecedented difficulties… This film won the Special Jury Prize at the 64th Venice Film Festival.
