Middle-aged man Kong Lingxue (played by Fan Wei) is a language teacher at a martial arts school in a city in Northeast China. He is dedicated to his teaching but is faced with a group of new-generation students who are indifferent to the beauty of their country's language. During one class, he confiscates the cell phone of a girl named Liu Meng (played by Bai Huizi), and later intervenes to stop a fight started by a young man named A Xiang (played by Zhi Yi), who is pursuing Liu Meng. This brings him a lot of trouble.
