Wei Chenggong (played by Wei Xiang) is very passionate about acting, but his unassuming looks often only allow him to find a minor role in movies. Even so, Wei Chenggong treats each of his characters, even those without names, with utmost seriousness. This dedication catches the attention of the popular star Milan (played by Ma Li). Milan's brother Miller (played by Huang Cailun) is a film director, and the gang leader Harvey (played by Chen Minghao) has invested a significant amount of money in his film. Unfortunately, the production lost everything, leaving him with nothing. Harvey has long admired Milan and wants to marry her, but Milan vows never to comply.
