Zhao Cheng (played by Zhang Jiatian) is influenced by his father's "rightist" issues, and during the Cultural Revolution, he is labeled as one of the "five black categories" and beaten by Red Guards like Zeng Xiaobei (played by Xiang Hong) and Li Cong (played by Chen Qiguo).
