In the year 2024, a virus named COVID-23 ravages the globe, with a mutated strain having a mortality rate exceeding 50%. The world enters its fourth year of severe lockdown. To control the pandemic, the U.S. government forcibly sends all infected Americans to quarantine camps called "Q Zones," managing them through inhumane methods. In this desperate world, a delivery driver named Nico (played by K.J. Apa) who is immune to the virus falls in love with a girl named Sara (played by Sofia Carson), but they are unable to meet due to the stay-at-home orders.
