The ordinary and unremarkable beautiful female mechanic, June Havens (played by Cameron Diaz), never expected that her journey home would become so long and perilous. Initially, she boards a mysterious flight to her hometown of Boston after some twists and turns, and on the flight, she strikes up a delightful conversation with a charming stranger, Roy Miller (played by Tom Cruise), whom she briefly met at the airport. It seems a romantic adventure is about to unfold, but moments later, the cabin is enveloped in a terrifying atmosphere. Except for Roy, all passengers and crew members are killed. As it turns out, Roy is a highly trained and skilled agent carrying an important battery, which becomes the primary target for a group of rogue agents determined to seize it by any means necessary.
