The story takes place in the vast desert of Nevada, where a professor (Valerio Mastandrea) is stationed alone at the famous Area 51. He is engrossed in his research every day. Years ago, the professor's wife passed away, and his obsession with exploring the universe is just a way to hear his wife's voice again. However, his tranquil life is repeatedly disturbed by a woman named Stella (Clémence Poésy), a wedding planner who serves couples that believe in the existence of aliens. One day, the professor receives an unexpected package: his nephew Dido and niece Anita are coming to visit him. Anita is a sixteen-year-old girl whose only dream is to party with Lady Gaga, while seven-year-old Dido has even more unimaginable ideas in his head.
