Lawrence Talbot (Benicio Del Toro) has been estranged from his family for years due to the painful memories of his childhood. One day, while performing in London, Lawrence is approached by his brother Benjamin's fiancée, Gwen Conliffe (Emily Blunt), who informs him of Benjamin's tragic death and urges him to return to their hometown, Blackmoor, to investigate. Upon returning to the place of his childhood, Lawrence aims not only to uncover the identity of his brother's murderer but also to reveal the truth behind his mother’s death years ago in his father’s arms. The once idyllic Blackmoor is now gripped by panic as attacks and deaths occur, accompanied by rumors of a monster appearing on nights of the full moon. During the investigation, Lawrence encounters the legendary creature—the werewolf—and is unfortunately bitten in the process. After recovering, Lawrence feels changes within him, as the legend that one becomes a werewolf after being bitten comes to fruition in his own life...
