The collapse of the bubble economy led to BanDai Tokihiko (played by Koichi Sato), who was originally running a disco business smoothly, incurring huge debts to the Yakuza's Dai-Oe group. Soon, BanDai teamed up with the bullied employee Hagiwara (played by Naoto Takenaka) and the handsome male prostitute Saniya (played by Masahiro Motoki); the three quickly hit it off and plotted to steal the Dai-Oe group's vast funds. Not long after, Dai-Oe group's insignificant underling Jimmy (played by Kippei Shiina) and former cop Ice Head (played by Janpachi Nezu) also joined in, and the five officially formed a group. They successfully robbed the Dai-Oe group, but the group soon discovered that the passport of Jimmy's Thai girlfriend was also missing, leading them to track down the identity of the robbers.
