The Seven Fairies (played by Fang Ying) is the youngest daughter of the Jade Emperor, and has been spoiled by her parents and sisters since childhood. The monotonous life in heaven makes the Seventh Fairy feel that she can no longer bear it, so she secretly comes to the human world behind her parents' back, unaware that her actions have already violated heavenly laws. In the human world, the Seventh Fairy encounters a man named Dong Yong (played by Ling Bo). Dong Yong grew up in a poor family and after his father's death, he couldn't even afford a proper burial for his father's remains. To earn money, he sold himself to a wealthy family in the area, where he would serve as a slave for three years. Dong Yong's filial piety and tragic situation move the Seventh Fairy, so she decides to use her fairy magic to help him through his difficulties. In the process, a spark of love ignites between Dong Yong and the Seventh Fairy.
