Synopsis: Orpheus is a successful poet who witnesses another handsome poet being killed by a car outside a café. A mysterious princess demonstrates how to resurrect the dead poet, and later has her driver take him home. Once home, Orpheus neglects everything around him, even ignoring the murder of his wife, as he focuses on receiving mysterious messages from the radio and dedicates himself to writing poetry. The driver suspects that the princess killed Orpheus's wife out of jealousy and travels with Orpheus through a mirror to another world in search of the princess and his wife. The depiction of death in this film (the princess) is comparable to that in "The Seventh Seal," incorporating elements of Nazism.
