Since their parting in Kushiro, Takahashi Nanami (played by Yuki Yoshitaka) and Yano Motoharu (played by Tomoharu Ikuta), a deeply affectionate young couple, never imagined that this separation would last so long. In the early days, they exchanged messages, shared photos, and made phone calls, encouraging each other. While Motoharu continued his studies, he had to work secretly to support his family, and although he made friends like Chimeji Akiko (played by Ai Higa), the increasingly harsh reality shattered his confidence and optimism. Gradually, he cut off contact with Nanami, as if he had vanished from her world and that of her friend Takeuchi Masashi (played by Sōsuke Takaoka). Years later, Nanami, who successfully enrolled in a university in Tokyo, faced an important moment for employment. However, regardless of how time moved on, her memories of and search for that person never ceased, inevitably becoming a burden for both Nanami and Motoharu throughout their lives... This film is adapted from the manga by Yuki Obata and is released in two parts.
