This story unfolds within a mere 24 hours, yet is filled with absurdity, misunderstandings, and the intertwining of fate. Yong Ge (played by Li Yixiang), the head of security at a hot pot factory who is unemployed, finds himself forced to take arowana belonging to the factory owner in order to save his brother-in-law from a gambling debt. However, he never anticipated that this ordinary arowana would conceal a TF card within its belly, a card that reveals the dark dealings of a state-owned property transaction. Yong Ge and his friends are quickly drawn into an increasingly widening "underworld" conflict. Various factions emerge to compete for the seemingly ordinary arowana: a greedy hot pot factory owner, the leader of an underworld gang, the owner of an underground gambling den, the general manager of a real estate company, and even hired "hitmen." The intertwining interests of these characters lead to escalating misunderstandings and confrontations, resulting in a series of bloody events and a trail of corpses. Yet, despite being in grave danger, Yong Ge remains oblivious to the kind of conflict he has gotten involved in. He acts solely to save others, inadvertently triggering a farcical chain of events that lands him in unprecedented turmoil, making his fate just a pawn in this dispute.
