Volf (played by Edgar G. Ulmer) is a liquor agent who unexpectedly encounters an actress named Christa on the street. They hit it off immediately and have a great conversation. Volf invites Christa to go on a weekend getaway with him, and that day, Christa brings along her good friend Brigitte (played by Brigitte Borchert). Also joining the outing is the taxi driver Erwin (played by Erwin Splettstößer), Volf's best friend. Erwin initially wants to invite his girlfriend Annie, but since Annie doesn't like going out, Erwin has to attend alone. The four young people spend a very free and joyful day together, during which Volf becomes deeply attracted to the beautiful Brigitte and soon forgets about Christa.
