Atim (played by Ali Barkai) loses his father in the war, and as a sixteen-year-old, he takes a pistol and decides to find and kill his father's murderer. Filled with hatred, Atim arrives in the city where his enemy, Nasara (played by Youssouf Djaoro), resides. By this time, Nasara has already settled down and runs his own bakery, where he gives leftover bread to poor children in the neighborhood, appearing to be a kind-hearted man.
