In 1944, as World War II initiated by the Nazis was nearing its end, the Nazis gathered Army Group A from the Balkans to attempt to block the southward advance of the Soviet Red Army in order to end the war on a dignified note. At the same time, they launched the "Laufwaffe Plan," which aimed to plunder Sarajevo's rich oil resources to supply their armored forces. To carry out the Laufwaffe Plan, Nazi Colonel Fenditris was dispatched to Sarajevo to eliminate the local partisans led by Walter (played by Velimir 'Bata' Zivojinovic). Fenditris ordered a spy to impersonate Walter, and with the help of a traitor, the fake Walter formed a resistance committee with several real partisans and obtained a list of partisans, leading to the assassination of many resistance members. The real Walter could not reveal his identity due to the demands of warfare, but with exceptional strategy and the courage of numerous partisans, he finally exposed the spy. In order to stop the Laufwaffe Plan, the partisans, having cleared out the traitors, launched another offensive.
