Bernwart (played by August Diehl) is the son of a Nazi poet favored by Hitler, who published a series of poems glorifying the Nazi spirit. Now, Bernwart and his wife, Enslin (played by Lena Lauzemis), are sorting through those unpublished works, hoping they can inject new life into the current literary world.
