In a desolate wilderness, a group of brutal bandits is whipping a beautiful girl named Maria (played by Loredana Cappelletti). Fortunately, she is rescued by Diango (played by Franco Nero). Mysterious and grim, he strolls through the muddy wasteland dragging a coffin. Diango brings Maria to a deserted town, where the locals are filled with curiosity about his arrival and are anxious about the secrets hidden in the coffin. This film, as a classic violent work of Italian Western, was banned in many countries around the world. In 2012, the genius director Quentin Tarantino paid homage to this film with "Django Unchained."
