Brock (played by Russell Crowe) is not only a washed-up boxer but also a father of three. As his boxing career declines, he faces financial struggles and an increasingly difficult family situation. Fortunately, his supportive and beautiful wife Mae (played by Renée Zellweger) understands him, and her hard work and lack of complaints keep the family from falling into despair.
