However, in the hospital, Jason wakes up again and kills the night shift medical staff, disappearing without a trace... Paul, Sarah (played by Barbara Howard), and six other young people rent a cabin in the woods for vacation. Next to the cabin live Tommy, Liz, and their mother. Paul and the others swim in Crystal Lake, completely unaware of the bloody story that played out here before. Tommy and Liz meet a young man named Rob (played by Erich Anderson), who claims to be a bear hunter, after their car breaks down. After Rob visits Tommy's family, he sets up camp in the forest. As night falls, Sarah and her new friends have a wild party in the cabin, while Jason returns to begin his hunt under the cover of darkness. When Tommy and Liz discover that their mother is missing and search for her, they meet Rob again, who reveals that his sister was killed by Jason, and he is specifically stationed in the area to seek revenge against Jason...
