Ko Wun-sun (played by Li Yiu Cheung) and Bai Chan (played by Yao Le Yi) were a loving couple, but Chan vanished without a trace after an accident, leaving Sun despondent. With the comfort and encouragement of Jia Wah (played by Chiu Ka Lok) and Bao Ling (played by Kwan Po Wai), Sun quickly regains his spirits and develops a romantic relationship with Bao Ling. Seven years later, under the urging of his mother (played by Loh Lan), Sun plans to marry Ling. Coincidentally, Chan, who has been missing for years, suddenly appears before Sun's mother, causing her to faint in fright. Chan later explains to Sun’s mother that she lost her memory due to the accident and has just recently regained it. Feeling hurt and unable to accept that her husband, whom she hasn’t seen in years, is about to marry another woman, Chan is upset, but Sun is reluctant to give up on Ling, who has waited for him for seven years. The two women vie for one man, leaving Sun at a loss. Eventually, Sun’s mother comes up with a plan for Chan to pretend to be a ghost to scare Ling away and make her give up. Ling is terrified by Chan's "ghost" and seeks help from monks and priests. Seeing Ling suffering, Sun can’t bear it anymore and reveals the truth. From then on, Ling and Chan become hostile towards each other. To sow discord between Sun and Chan, Ling stirs the pot, causing Sun to gradually suspect that Chan had a romantic partner while she was missing, leading him to discover that Chan was with Ming (played by Cheung Tat Ming) during her amnesia. The relationships between the two men and two women become increasingly complicated due to misunderstandings.
