In 1932, Japanese imperialism invaded Northeast China, supporting the puppet emperor Puyi to establish the puppet state of Manchukuo and implementing enslaving education throughout the region. Located in the territory of the puppet state, Qinghe Boys High gathered students from Japan and China, filled with national hatred, leading to frequent fights among unruly youths from both sides at the school. Prior to this, Qinghe Boys High was dominated by a faction led by Japanese student Shibata (played by Kento Yamazaki), while the Chinese students were busy with internal conflicts, until a man named Jing Hao (played by Ou Hao) appeared, finally showing resistance against the Japanese students. With the arrival of Jing Hao's strategist Tan Jiamu, the conflict between the two sides was completely resolved, bringing long-awaited peace to this hyperactive boys' school.
