In 1932, Japanese imperialism invaded Northeast China, supporting the puppet emperor Puyi to establish the puppet state of Manchukuo and implementing enslaving education throughout the region. Located in the territory of the puppet state, Qinghe Boys High gathered students from Japan and China, filled with national hatred, leading to frequent fights among unruly youths from both sides at the school.
