In the beautiful central square of Sen City, the volunteer teachers are all set to accept the leaders' inspection. The spirited Ding Jiaojiao (played by Zheng Lanjiao) embodies the profound hopes of the provincial leaders as she receives a pen symbolizing the "spirit of dedication." Feng Zheng (played by Zong Fengyan), originally a mid-level leader in a provincial institution, decides to dedicate himself to grassroots teaching after facing setbacks in promotion and nurturing political aspirations.
