Tang Yongqiang (played by Wang Shuqin) lives with his family in Hong Kong's New Territories. Although his wife has a job, Tang Yongqiang is unemployed, and the family has no income, relying solely on social welfare for survival. As the pressure and difficulties of family life increase, the relationship between the couple gradually fades. Worse still, the wife begins to have an affair with another man, exacerbating the conflicts between them.
