A hundred years ago, black-and-white silent films were all the rage in Japan, captivating both adults and children. Jun Taro (played by Ryo Narita) often sneaks into theaters to listen to free movies, whether they are Japanese or foreign, and he can perfectly imitate the narrators' tone. Becoming a "narrator" has been Jun Taro's dream since childhood, but as he grows up, he becomes a "fake narrator," distracting the audience while thieves take advantage of the situation. During a nearly botched job, he escapes with stolen money to a local theater called "Aoki-kan," where he meets various narrators, including a tipsy one, a handsome one, and a chubby one. Along with the film projectionist, musicians, and a stingy couple who run the theater, he explores the behind-the-scenes world of movies. However, a group of thieves and an enthusiastic police officer are hot on his heels, and the first love from his childhood who watched movies with him resurfaces. Additionally, there’s a new trendy theater in town, and the boss’s daughter falls madly in love with him. Where will Jun Taro’s youthful romance lead...
