The film tells the story of Meng Daguang (Ren Tianye), the captain of the third platoon of the volunteer army, who is given a critical mission during the Korean War. He leads his squad to rescue the reconnaissance platoon trapped behind enemy lines, facing a series of difficulties and obstacles. The third platoon successfully merges with the reconnaissance platoon led by "God of the Gun" Du Chuan (Li Dongxue).
