Hong Kong triad boss Tan Jie (played by Cheng Kui'an) and his wife are killed by his subordinate Yang Wenbiao during their son's 6th birthday celebration at home. His loyal subordinate Ah Xiong (played by Lin Wei) manages to rescue his son Jiah Hao but they become separated.
