The story takes place in an ancient kingdom with a rich history, where the evil sorcerer Garian (played by Ray Liotta) sets his sights on this tranquil land. Leading his minions, they massacre villages, killing the farmer Damon’s (played by Jason Statham) children and taking away his wife Solana (played by Claire Forlani). In his anger and despair, Damon is determined to seek revenge and reclaim his wife. With the help of King Conrad (played by Burt Reynolds) and the good wizard Merick (played by John Rhys-Davies), Damon assembles a savvy and capable team of mercenaries. However, the enemies they face are not merely the bloodthirsty and brutal beast legions; they must resist something even more evil, darker, and more powerful: dark magic.
