In Boston, a beloved pastor is mysteriously murdered, with bullets piercing through his skull in a gruesomely horrific manner, rumored to be the work of the Punisher. The case is still being handled by detectives Greenly, Duffy, and Dolly, but they are at a loss. Fortunately, the intelligent and alluring FBI agent Eunice Bloom (played by Julie Benz) decodes the Punisher's killing methods. Due to the Boston massacre ten years ago, the fraternal twin brothers Connor (Sean Patrick Flanery) and Murphy (Norman Reedus), along with their leader father Noah (Billy Connolly), have been living in seclusion in the Irish countryside. With the emergence of this case, the brothers shave their heads and come out of retirement. During this time, they recruit the Mexican Romeo (Clifton Collins Jr.), who, using his clever mind and outstanding fighting skills, overcomes much larger opponents. Although it seems cruel to take their foes to the point of death, the brothers find it fitting and plan to bring him into their fold. This new team, along with the beautiful agent, embarks on a dangerous journey to hunt down the Punisher…
