Tom (Liam Neeson 饰), once a notorious robber ruling the underworld, committed numerous major crimes and remained free from justice. Later, he met a woman named Annie (Kate Walsh 饰), whose beauty and kindness captivated Tom, leading him to fall in love and willing to give up his promising criminal career for her. Moreover, he attempted to atone for his sins by returning the stolen money. The FBI agents Nevens (Jai Courtney 饰) and Hall (Anthony Ramos 饰) were ordered to recover 7 million dollars in stolen money from Tom. The sheer amount of money blinded the two detectives; they not only plotted to embezzle the funds but also sought to frame Tom for murder to eliminate him.
