A catastrophic event has destroyed civilization, and thousands of years later, humanity has adapted and evolved new ways of survival. Now, massive mobile cities roam the Earth, mercilessly devouring small traction towns. Tom Natsworthy (played by Robert Sheehan), from the lower levels of the great traction city of London, finds himself forced to fight for survival after encountering the dangerous fugitive Hester Shaw (played by Hera Hilmar).
