Hong Kong police officer Lee Chong Chi (Louis Koo) learns that his daughter, Zhi (Hanna Chan), has mysteriously disappeared while traveling in Thailand, and he goes to Thailand to report the case. The Chinese agent handling the case, Cui Jie (Wu Yue), agrees to let him join the investigation, but unexpectedly, Lee Chong Chi uses the media to call on citizens to provide leads. A footage accidentally capturing Zhi being abducted is uploaded to the police website but is mysteriously deleted. Cui Jie, along with his friend and fellow officer Tak (Tony Jaa), goes in search of the owner of the footage but encounters a mysterious person who tries to eliminate evidence. A confrontation ensues, leading to a chase and a fight. As Lee Chong Chi and Cui Jie investigate further, they discover layers within the case and begin to realize that the mysterious forces behind the killer are beyond their capability to handle...
