Jack Conrad (played by Stone Cold Steve Austin) was originally a death row inmate in a Midwestern prison. Just as he was about to face the electric chair, he was sold by a corrupt warden to a television network. The producer at the station planned a new show, selecting ten muscular, agile, and brutal death row inmates from around the world to pit them against each other on a deserted island. Only the one who can eliminate the other opponents and survive for 30 hours would have a chance to live. The entire fight was recorded from multiple angles and broadcasted worldwide, drawing bloodthirsty viewers who eagerly bought this crazy reality show. In this group of death row inmates, there are hidden talents, and for Jack to survive, he'll have to fight fiercely... [Background] *The bald main character is WWE superstar Stone Cold Steve Austin, whose status and accomplishments are comparable to those of The Rock, who entered film earlier. Looking at the custom heavyweight champion belts made by WWE, SCSA's achievements actually surpass those of The Rock. *Since WWE established its film division, three wrestlers have been prominently featured in leading film roles: 1, Kane in "See No Evil"; 2, John Cena in "The Marine"; 3, SCSA in "Death Row Survivor." In terms of box office, "The Marine" performed the best, followed by "See No Evil," while "Death Row Survivor" had poor box office and reception. However, regarding the investment-to-output ratio, "See No Evil" is undoubtedly the biggest winner. *Among the death row inmates, there's a couple where the male is Wildman, who was active in WWE (then known as WWF) in the mid-90s. To my knowledge, he only held the Intercontinental Championship (a tier below the WWF Championship). His ex-girlfriend Sable had posed for Playboy twice and later married another wrestler much younger than her, Brock Lesnar, who once held the WWE Championship. After a falling out, Lesnar quit, transitioned to mixed martial arts, and is now the heavyweight champion in UFC, the largest MMA organization in the U.S. *The film's overall structure is inspired by Kinji Fukasaku's "Battle Royale," which is a type of wrestling competition where wrestlers fight in the ring and must throw their opponents out of the top rope; the last one remaining is the winner.
