This film is adapted from Robert Howard's 1932 comic "Phoenix on the Sword" and is the first installment of the "Conan the Barbarian" trilogy. In the savage era of Earth, all conflicts are resolved through brute force. On the ancient continent, two powerful tribal armies are engaged in a fierce battle, and a brave warrior leads his tribe to victory in the war; he is Conan the Barbarian (Jason Momoa). Upon his victorious return, Conan is adored by his tribe, slaying terrifying monsters and expanding their territory, but a conspiracy is brewing... Supernatural evil forces are attempting to corrupt Conan's tribe, controlling key figures within it, leading to a massacre that spares even Conan's father, Corin (Ron Perlman). The unexpectedly surviving Conan will traverse the Siberian tundra in search of allies, driven by deep-seated vengeance, and he will avenge his father and kin in the most primal and savage way...
