In her old age, Lady Thatcher (played by Meryl Streep) suffers from dementia and frequently switches between hallucinations and memories. She feels her beloved husband is always by her side, when in fact he has long since passed away. As the daughter of a grocer, she often faces scorn from society due to her impoverished background. However, after listening to a Conservative Party speech, she solidifies her political beliefs and gains excellent grades to enter Oxford University. Although she loses a parliamentary election, she finds true love and is accompanied by him, solidifying her path in politics. From then on, she gradually rises to the leadership of the Conservative Party. Eventually, the Conservative Party achieves a landslide victory in the elections, and she becomes the first female Prime Minister in British history, forming her own cabinet government.
