After failing in business, Ma Dafu (played by Cheng Kui'an) moves with his wife (Mai Jiaqi) and two daughters (Li Yanping, Wang Fei) to a remote mountain village to open an inn. Surprisingly, the inn has no business for several days. Later, guided by a mad woman, they discover that the inn is haunted by malevolent spirits, which is why there's no business. The family uses various means to drive away the spirits and finally welcomes their first batch of guests. However, overnight, all the guests mysteriously die! To keep the inn running, they don't make a fuss and bury the bodies, becoming "expert grave diggers."
